Feb 26: Poem competition for our youth

Poem competition for our youth.
Date- Sunday, Feb 26th.
Time- 3:00-5:00pm
Location- Youth Center
12260 Saratoga Sunnyvale Road,
Saratoga, CA 95070

Participants age group categories and poem requirements-
6-8 yr olds: 5 lines of poem
9-12 yr olds: 10 lines of poem
13-15 yr olds- 20 lines of poem.

Judging Criteria includes-
Choose an attribute of a Prophet,
Limit poem lines to the specific age category,
Spirit of the poem, and
Grammatical structure and format.

Participants will recite their poem at the event. The top three winners of each category will receive a prize.

Event will end with Maghrib prayer, Inshallah.

To participate, RSVP with name and age group by Feb 22nd.
